What the site covers
Everything on Pegdrop is about Plinko as Australians meet it: the casino versions from BGaming, Spribe and Stake, the maths behind each risk level, the free simulator, and the board game that shares the name. We write in Australian English, quote stakes in AUD and date every figure.
Who writes it
Pages are written and checked by Ruby Ashcombe, Pegdrop’s editor. Ruby works from primary sources: each provider’s own game page, its rules screen and its free demo. When a figure isn’t published anywhere we can point to, it doesn’t go on the site.
How the numbers get checked
The method is written down on How we test: which sources count, how the payout tables are checked against the published RTP, and how the 1,000-ball simulations are run. Each page shows the date it was last checked and lists its sources at the bottom.
Who pays for the site
Pegdrop may earn a commission from casinos we link to. The details, including why no casino has a button on the site right now, are on our disclosure page. No casino or game provider has seen or approved any page before it went live.
Online casinos and Australian law
Online casinos and online pokies are not licensed in Australia. Offering them to people in Australia is prohibited under the Interactive Gambling Act 2001, and the Australian Communications and Media Authority blocks offshore casino sites. We say this plainly on every page that mentions real-money play, and we never describe an offshore casino as licensed in Australia.
